Judy Garland’s remains have been moved from a New York mausoleum and transferred to a celebrity cemetery in Hollywood, according to reports.
The transfer was made at the request of daughter Liza Minnelli, because there isn’t enough space at Ferncliff Cemetery in Greenburgh for her children and grandchildren to be buried alongside her, People reported.
Garland — whose kids are Minnelli, 70, Lorna Luft, 64, and Joey Luft, 61, had been interred there since her death 48 years ago.
On Thursday, her remains were flown from JFK Airport to Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.
She’ll be placed in the Beth Olam section at the star-studded cemetery, where George Harrison, Jayne Mansfield, Johnny Ramone and other celebrities are also buried, according to TMZ.
Garland died at age 47 in 1969 of a barbiturate overdose.
