The Chainsmokers Announce Debut Album & 2017 Arena Tour

After teasing a major announcement on social media, The Chainsmokers today (Jan. 30) announced their debut album and a major arena tour encompassing 40 North American cities.

They announced the news when Coldplay tweeted out their anticipation for The Chainsmokers’ debut LP, and the New York duo confirmed the news.

While an official release date via Columbia / Disruptor Records has not been announced, Columbia Records chairman and CEO Rob Stringer recently told Billboard the album was due in early April.

The duo is set to begin the Memories: Do Not Open Tour  April 13 in Miami, FL at the American Airlines Arenea. The tour will feature new production and support from special guest Kiiara and Emily Warren. Every ticket purchased online for the tour includes a copy of The Chainsmokers’ forthcoming debut album.

Presale tickets will be available at 3 p.m. ET via Citi’s Private Pass website. The general on-sale will begin on Friday, Feb. 3 via Ticketmaster.
